Our last day open for quite a while will be December 31, 2025 to begin the move and start working on the remodel. We are planning for an early spring reopening date. We will share updates, photos and other information via our email newsletter.

During the time we are closed, we have to store our wine inventory (and move it into storage), and generally moving is not all that fun. Therefore, we are having a big sale in an attempt to reduce our inventory of wine as much as possible.

We have big news! Beach Daisy Wine is moving!

We are very excited to announce that Beach Daisy Wine will move to a new, larger building within the same complex in early 2026. Touchstone Gallery will move into our current location and we will move into the gallery building just across the parking lot. The gallery building is roughly double the size (1770 square feet) of our current location (880 square feet), bringing with it plenty of exciting opportunities.

The new shop is modeled after a hybrid concept melding the bottle shop with an Italian-themed wine bar and retail store. We will keep what customers love about Beach Daisy — a great wine selection in the bottle shop, wine flights and wines by the glass, Friday night music, pizza, etc. New offerings will include more small plates, fresh pasta, and house-made sauces for dine-in or take-out. We’ll also add gourmet cheeses, cooking ingredients and treats. This concept combines the appeal of a specialty retail market offering to-go items customers can heat and eat at home with a menu of prepared foods to enjoy in-house.

Nothing says “Celebrate!” quite like a bottle of sparkling wine or Champagne, and there no better time to celebrate than the holidays.
All Champagne is sparkling wine, but not all sparkling wine is Champagne. The term "Champagne" is legally protected and reserved exclusively for sparkling wine produced in the Champagne region of France using the intricate Traditional Method.
Flavors can vary widely, from crisp citrus and green apple notes to complex, creamy, and toasty aromas of brioche and nuts, depending on the production method and aging.
Sparkling wines range from bone-dry (Brut Nature or Zero Dosage) to very sweet (Doux or Demi-Sec). Brut is the most common and popular dry style.
It should be well-chilled before serving to maintain the bubbles and ensure a safe opening. Not just an apéritif or after-dinner drink, bubbly also pairs well with a variety of salty, smoked, and briny nibbles as well as a host of creamy cheeses.

How to Build your Flight
Select your flight by choosing one or more wines from the à la carte menu. À la carte wines are priced individually. Select 4 or more wines from the menu and receive a $2 discount on the flight.

Pinot Gris vs. Pinot Grigio: What’s the difference?
Pinot Gris and Pinot Grigio are the same grape, but the name reflects different wine styles often dictated by geography. "Pinot Grigio" typically refers to the lighter, crisper, Italian style notes of green apple, lemon, and sometimes a hint of minerality. This style is more popular with wine drinkers in the United States. Early-harvested Pinot Grigio grapes have high acidity.
French style “Pinot Gris” wines from places like Alsace, Oregon, and New Zealand tend to be richer, fuller-bodied, and more aromatic. The wines are fruit-forward, with flavors of ripe pear, honey, tropical fruit, and spice.

While it’s difficult to try and define a “typical” German Riesling, some common traits include refreshing and pronounced acidity, floral aromas, and peach and apple notes. Those from slate-y soils will show mineral and stony notes, while Rieslings with age begin to show off petrol-like characteristics.

Dave’s singer/ songwriter roots run deep. After decades of performing and touring across Canada/ Newfoundland and the US West Coast, he now calls the Pacific Northwest home. Inspired by the Folk and Americana scenes, his local sets are a mix of originals and covers.

Pizza
Pizza is available Friday after 5 p.m. and all day Saturday. Thin and chewy, house-made crust baked at a high temperature. All pizzas are 11” (size may vary since it is a handmade item).

Are you ready for a taste of fall? This week’s pizza features sweet butternut squash, woodsy herbs, toasty hazelnuts, and pungent blue cheese. A bed of silky caramelized onions serves as the "sauce," a delicious change of pace.

Fall and Winter Flights
A wine flight, consisting of a small, themed selection of wines, is a fantastic way to explore new flavors. The featured flight will run for two weeks and be available Wednesday through Sunday.

Bordeaux
The red blends of Bordeaux, in particular, are some of the most coveted wines in the world. Perhaps less well-known in the US, Bordeaux also produces excellent white wines.
