We are aware of the social media discussion going on regarding offensive comments made by a few individuals in our business this past weekend.

We at Bricks Pub want to be very clear that disrespectful behavior towards others does not reflect the values of our business, our staff, or our community. No family should leave a local establishment feeling uncomfortable or unwelcome. We will not tolerate this type of behavior.

Additionally, many assumptions and conclusions are now being shared online about what staff, ownership, or others present knew or witnessed in the moment. We ask you to avoid presenting speculation as fact. The staff on hand attempted to handle the situation correctly but unfortunately, the damage had already been done.

It deeply saddens me that there are so many people hearing about Bricks Pub and our wonderful town of Wrenshall for this first time due to this horrible event. I humbly ask that you not allow the actions/behaviors of a few individuals to create false beliefs or narratives about our town and the people who live here.

The issue is still being discussed. The individuals involved have been informed that they are no longer welcome in our establishment. We will do everything we can to ensure this doesn't happen again.

To the family impacted by this event, we are deeply sorry, ashamed and embarrassed by this event. Please know we at Bricks and our community, care about you.
