The Ballot Box

The Ballot Box Located in Kelly Square, Worcester, MA, The Ballot Box Bar is located in the heart of The Canal District.

Owner Guy Glodis has a long and deep history in Worcester politics. He served as state representative from 1997 to 1999, as a state senator from 1999 to 2004, and as sheriff of Worcester County from 2004 to 2011. Guy’s father, William Glodis Jr., took him to many political events. Along the way, he picked up brochures, pins, posters, newspaper articles, and other collectibles that are now on displ

ay at The Ballot Box. "We encourage people to come down and take a look at the memorabilia, the history. It tells the story of not only national and state politics, but it tells the story of Worcester County politics, which is important because we've certainly had a cast of characters throughout the decades," Glodis said. We serve everything from draft beers to specialty drinks. Come enjoy our cozy atmosphere at our bar, high tables, and couches. The Ballot Box is available to hold functions with a capacity of up to 90 people.
