Hello, Hi sorry it’s been a year since we spoke. As time goes by I really have to ask a question is EVERY single individual business that closed in the The Canal District at fault? ??? Did the city fail ALL of us small business owners?! Does the city really not have a great plan for the Canal district? I don’t think so… Everybody said the Worcester Red Sox would make things better…we can agree to disagree!! “Parking won’t be an issue” I totally disagre!! The Woo Sox did nothing but smother small business!!! Small business in the The Canal District was booming pre Woo Sox!!! At what point does the city realize they have a problem on their hands? At what point is the collateral damage of small independent operators enough for the city of Worcester to stand up and fight for small business? Enough of the small business going under and blaming it on the landlords and rent increases. At the end of the day businesses just don’t wanna operate in the Canal district!!! We’re saying what every other small busssines is thinking!!! Please Do better and figure out the issues for the next round of independent operators willing to take a chance!
