Yesterday was a productive day for our President and founder, Mike Mariola, with the Ohio Restaurant & Hospitality Alliance. He had the opportunity to visit with elected officials (Representatives Craig, Sweeney, and Dovilla - pictured in the photo with Mike) to discuss some of the issues impacting our industry.

Our community is strong because of amazing educators like Laura! 🥳

Meet your Mariola Italian Teacher of the Year: Laura Chewning of Triway Elementary School! 🏆

Laura, our community showed up to show you major love with over 340 votes, and you deserve every bit of this moment.

We asked Laura to share a few words and she said it better than we ever could:
"If you know me, you know how much I love what I do and how much my students mean to me. From my first class 29 years ago, to the students in my class today, every single student has a special place in my heart. Teachers everywhere who show up every day, not just to teach a lesson, but to be a safe place for their students, deserve to be recognized and honored."

Laura will be receiving a fully catered Mariola Italian lunch for the entire Triway Elementary teaching staff so she can share this special moment with her peers!

The City Square Steakhouse, Rail Craft Kitchen & Bar, and Mariola Italian are closed for Christmas today so our teams can spend time with family and friends.

We will be open regular hours tomorrow and look forward to seeing you! We have much to be grateful for this year and thank you for supporting local businesses 💙
