Tonight, Saturday, March 14th, was The Prince & The Pauper’s final night of service at 24 Elm Street. We are both deeply saddened to bring this chapter to a close, and also immensely grateful for our time and experiences in this space.

From everyone on The Prince & The Pauper team, we send our most heartfelt thank you to all the wonderful customers and community who have made our past 51 years at 24 Elm Street so special. The outpouring of support we’ve witnessed in this past month alone, since the announcement of the sale of our building, has been invaluable.

We will be putting together a memory book to honor the legacy of our time at 24 Elm Street. If our restaurant has been part of a meaningful memory in your life, we would be deeply honored if you would share it with us. Please visit our website for more information.

While we take time to reflect on this part of our journey and thoughtfully consider where the future may take us, please stay connected. Our name, phone number, email, and website will remain active under the same ownership, and we hope to update our website and mailing list whenever we may have new information to share.

As we officially close this chapter, we again extend our gratitude for all the incredible support we have received and for all the wonderful celebrations, dinners, connections, and moments we have been privileged to share.

Thank you for being a part of our story,

Liz and The Prince & The Pauper Team

We shared last month that the building The Prince & The Pauper resides in has been sold, and our lease will not be renewed. After thoughtful reflection, we’ve decided that Saturday, March 14th, 2026, will be our final day of service at 24 Elm Street.

We will be closed for a private event on Friday, March 13th – otherwise, our business hours remain the same: Tuesday through Saturday, 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Our time in this space has meant so much to us; we are incredibly proud of what has been built within these walls - the celebrations, the quiet dinners, the friendships, and the extraordinary team who made each evening feel seamless.

While our time in this location is coming to a close, The Prince & The Pauper remains under the same ownership. We will be keeping our name, phone number, email, and website active, so please stay connected as we take the time to thoughtfully consider what the future may hold.

For now, we invite you to join us in these final weeks to share a meal, raise a glass, and celebrate all that this place has meant to our community.

With deep gratitude,

Liz and The Prince & The Pauper Team
