Join us October 26th for our 25th Annual Halloween Costume Contest and Party! We are giving over $1200 is Cash and Prizes ($800 Cash for 1st Place, $300 Place Cash for 2nd Place, and $100 Place Cash for 3rd Place).

Judging will be different this year! Judges will move the contestants to the final round and narrow down the contestants through crowd participation and LIVE VOTING on Facebook. Photos will be posted on our page and votes will be counted and combined with the crowd favorites. Make sure to vote online the night of the contest!

The Place Marietta - Must be registered to compete by 10:30pm to be included. Finals after Midnight. 21+ | $10 cover.

We established our Towne Lake location over 20 years ago in the Woodstock community.

We have been The Place for many first dates, friends, good times, a little drinking, great food, and a lot of dancing. The Place has also been the start of many marriages and some divorces, but it has always been The Place that many of us turned to for some wonderful memories and a fun time.

Unfortunately, negotiations with our landlord have broken down and he will not renew our lease. We really tried our best, even offered more money to get the deal done, but it was not accepted.

For many, this is a big blow and to our employees, an even bigger blow to their lives.

It's very heartbreaking but this week will be our last week of operation at the current location, but rest assured it will not be our last in the area. We are regrouping to build a better The Place location in the Cherokee County area and we hope you will support us in our endeavors.

Our team is strong-willed, and many will make the short 10-mile drive to The Place in Marietta just off I-75, exit 267, on Sandy Plains Road in Marietta. The Sandy Plains location has a solid long-term lease and is ready to rock with you every Friday and Saturday night until 3am, just as we have for so many years.
