Chuck Fischerkeller came away with the win in the finals of the Winter Bowling Season match game earning him a first place check for $500. Fischerkeller rolled a 290 game in the finals to defeat Ricky Russell. Russell bowled a 224 respectively and rolled good all night but, could not beat the high rolling Fischerkeller on this night. Mike Murdock and Dylan Baker finished 3rd and 4th respectively. The finals was sponsored by Citizens National Bank, Russell Family Bowling Center and Bridgeport Equipment.

Lloyd Cross was able to defeat Arnold Isner in the final regular season head-to-head match game to gain his spot to bowl on Thursday May 11th in the championship round. The finals will start at 8;00 p.m. Cross was awarded the $200 check sponsored by Bauer Turner Furniture and Willams Embalming Service. The finals are sponsored by Citizens National Bank, Bridgeport Equipment and Russell Family Bowling Center LLC.

Mike Murdock became the latest winner of the match game at Russell Family Bowling Center as the tournament winds down for the season. With just one week left before the finals Murdock held off Gary Isner in the final round Thursday night which was sponsored by Moose Lodge 2247 and Bridgeport Equipment. Isner bowled well all night but could not overcome a mistake when he opened in the eighth frame and Murdock struck in the eighth, ninth and tenth frames. Isner defeated Chuck Fischerkeller in the semi-final round and Murdock defeated Derek Griffith in the semi-final round. This weeks sponsor will be Bauer Turner Furniture Store and Williams Embalming .

Dylan Baker won the Thursday Night Match Game at Russell Family Bowling Center for the second time this season and is only the second person with two wins thus far. Bryan Duffy is the other two time winner. Both are now eligible for the finals to be held on Thursday May 11th. Baker was able to defeat Scott Dierkes in the first round and Chuck Fischerkeller in the second round and had to defeat Matt Hall in a ninth and tenth frame roll-off to get to the finals, where her narrowly edged Chris Emig by a score of 182-181. Emig defeated Ricky Russell in another close match by a score of 248-242 before handing Al Spencer and Tom Hall each a loss to make it to the finals. Chuck Fischerkeller was the high qualifier with a two game total of 558 with his first game being a 300 game. The sponsors for the night were Stottler Tree Service and Stewart Lawn Care. The sponsors for the next week are Citizens National Bank and Yoss Law Office.

The Thursday night match game was won by Bryan Duffy as he defeated Eric Goddard in the final round to capture the $200 first place check. The tournament was sponsored by Bridgeport Equipment and Moose #2247. Duffy defeated Gary Isner in the semi finals and Eric defeated his father Butch, in the semi final round. Duffy was also the high qualifier for the night with a 2 game total of 485. The next tournament is April 13th and is sponsored by Stottler Tree Service and Stewart Lawn Care.
