The Galan family has been in the taco business for over 60 years. The botana, among other favorite foods, is just one of the tasty creations of this family. Armando Galan paved the path. He passed away six years ago, and it's been hard on all our family members, friends, and our locations. He and my grandmother, Joyce, started this journey a long time ago, before most of our customers were born. Today, we serve Southwest Detroit in Mexican Town, Allen Park, Southgate, Woodhaven, and our newest location in Monroe. We ask all friends, customers, employees, and family to stop by any of our locations, and when you do, please remember this is a family business; it was built with our money and standard operating procedures, from the ground up, brick by brick. It's as hard for us day in and day out as it is for every person who has truly built something special from scratch or through hard work. We're not perfect; every day we make mistakes, and it's with the blessings and support from each person we've served or will serve that we remain in business. All family members are older now, and all of us have other occupations and investments to make up for the lack of income these places don't provide, so with that being said, we're still here, we're growing, and here to stay. Monroe, thank you for your warm welcome; we look forward to many years of service and the opportunity to feed your family while feeding ours. Let's go.
