Witwen Concerts

Witwen Concerts Summer concert series held at the historic Witwen Campground, featuring local, regional and international talent. Saturday evenings in July! Witwen Campground.

is an old church meeting grounds with white wooden buildings in a quiet setting next to Honey Creek. There, on soft summer nights, surrounded by neighbors and friends, listening to great music, a person feels about as close to perfection as he or she is likely to get in this life. Since 2001, the Campground in the tiny town of Witwen, Wisconsin has been the site of a concert series featuring local

, regional and international entertainers. Concerts begin at 6:00pm. Grounds open at 4:30 pm for your enjoyment. Visit our Food Stand, staffed by local Boy Scout Troop 173. BBQ dinners are available from local vendors, and homemade pies complete your culinary experience. Bring your lawn chairs and your own favorite beverages to enjoy before and during the concert. Don't forget your corkscrew! In case of inclement weather, concerts are held in our Tabernacle building, where the seats are comfortable and the acoustics incredible. Witwen Campground, a National Historic Register Place, is located 7 miles west of Prairie du Sac, Wisconsin. Witwen Concerts are supported by individual donations and sponsorships, as well as a grant from the Education, Arts & Culture Committee of Sauk County and the Wisconsin Arts Board.
