Friends and family of The Geek Easy, I come bearing ❗️updates❗️

Although we have been very close to a new location multiple times, including having a letter of intent signed, we continue the quest of looking for a new location. We refuse to open a location that’s too far from our original home or that requires us to nix “live entertainment” (as many would have), despite having the opportunity to do so.

A build out for a new Geekeasy is estimated to take up to six months from when we sign a letter of intent and the moment we sign one in the future you guys will be the first to hear about it 😎.

Also, to clarify, some questions we’ve been getting, we recently got rid some of our used/broken equipment but The Geek Easy hasn’t been sold. Don’t worry fam! Any major developments will be posted here first and foremost 🫶

Hello friends!

We hope to see you all this Friday for what will be our last Friday night karaoke at the current location!! We’ll be taking the rest of the month to break down and prepare for the move.

We have toured many locations looking for the perfect replacement home. The turn-key units we looked at that were available in our desired locations were either the wrong size or had zoning that could not accommodate live events. We have narrowed our options down to two, both about 10 minutes from our current spot. One in Oviedo, near UCF, and one on 436.

The owners have both indicated they are open to the Geek Easy making our home there and we have a number of weeks to decide where we want to go. The buildout will be extensive and we estimate it to likely require a number of months to fully complete.

We’ll be sharing our progress through vlogs that you’ll see rolling out as we move along! More to come, stay tuned!

🎉 Happy New Years Eve everyone! 🎉

We have a number of 👀 big announcements 👀 to share in the coming weeks, the first of which is that The Geek Easy will be moving in February 2023!! Our current plaza has been condemned to be demolished later in the year. 😿

After the move, we'll be debuting a new food concept within The Geek Easy and we'll have menus to share in Jan!

Until February, events such as Karaoke🎙️ , Twisted Tuesday🔥 , Open Mic🎸 , Burlesque👙 , and all your favorite events will continue as normal until we take a 1-2 week break to relocate next year.

We'll be announcing some new ways to engage with the community, both in-person and online, and we'll be sharing a lot of the journey of building a new venue over those platforms as well as social media!

We look forward to seeing you all in 2023!!🫂
