A New Chapter for The Attic Door: A Message from the Owners
We are making it official… We are retired!
The Attic Door has been sold! We are thrilled to announce that the new owner is dedicated to preserving this legacy business, which has been a staple of Plant Street for over 20 years. You can expect the same iconic vibe and the local musicians you love to continue entertaining our community.
Our Journey
Our connection to this space goes back to 2006, when we first moved to Winter Garden and fell in love with The Attic Door’s unique atmosphere. On January 1, 2019, we were lucky enough to become the owners, eventually evolving it into a wine bistro with a solid menu of food offerings to complement our wine selection.
While the challenges of the last few years shifted our focus toward health, it gave us the opportunity to step back and let our incredible team shine. And oh, how they have shined!
A Heartfelt Thank You
We are forever grateful to the people who made this possible:
• Back of House: Our deepest thanks to Chef David Lampman, along with Chris and Cole, for keeping everyone’s palates satisfied with some of the most delicious food on Plant Street.
• Front of House: A huge shoutout to Kim Holland for her leadership, and to Addison, Kendall, Kimmy, Lily, Mandy and Olivia. Your magic in the dining room and friendly service made every guest feel at home.
The Future of The Attic Door
The best part of this transition is that the new owner plans to keep operations very similar to what you know and love. After seeing how Jim Larweth maintained the integrity and team at The Chef’s Table, we felt incredibly confident handing over the keys to this fourth owner of The Attic Door. We know he will respect the legacy of this space while adding his own positive touch in the years to come.

Good Afternoon Winter Garden!

We have been getting a lot of calls and texts asking us when our last day open is since we are closing.

We are not closing.

We are still here on Plant Street serving some of the best food by award winning chef David Lampman. We are currently featuring our Date Night (59.99 per couple) and lots of other yummy dishes!
All of our staff are here waiting to serve you some adult beverages and have fun!

Please, if anyone sees comments about our closing, let them know that it is not true!
