A WELL-DESERVED SHOUTOUT TO FAST COMPANY BROTHERHOOD ❤️
Since Troy and I moved to Scott County, there’s something I’ve noticed that I think deserves to be said publicly.
There are a lot of churches, groups, and organizations in our community doing good things. But one group I see consistently stepping up, showing up, and actually putting words into action is Fast Company Brotherhood.
These guys don’t just talk about helping people. They do it. They don’t just help McCreary county they help Scott county over and over again.
They organize fundraisers and benefits. They help families who are struggling. They help people move. They rally around people during some of the hardest moments of their lives. When someone in this community needs a hand, these guys seem to find a way to be there.
And for anyone who comes out to Bike Night at Oak & Ash — Fast Company Brotherhood IS Bike Night. They are the ones behind it, organizing it, bringing people together, and using that gathering as another way to support this community. We are simply fortunate enough to provide them a place to do it.
Seeing this newspaper article made me want to acknowledge them today because it shows something important: this isn’t something they just started doing. This is who they are.
You don’t need a title or a spotlight to make a difference. Sometimes making a difference simply means rolling up your sleeves, showing up when someone needs you, and actually doing something.
Fast Company Brotherhood does exactly that.
Troy and I want you guys to know how much we appreciate and respect what you do. Not only for Oak & Ash, but for people all over this community. I’m sure there are countless things you’ve done for people that most of us will never even know about.
So today, the spotlight belongs to you guys. ❤️
