Now that was a Fourth of July pregame! 🇺🇸🌭💦
Our Corn Dog Eating Competition was one for the books and for the first time ever, a woman took home the championship! 👏🏆
Then we cooled off with water fights, lots of laughs, and an afternoon full of fun before everyone headed downtown for the fireworks.
Thanks to everyone who came out, competed, got soaked, cheered everyone on, and made it another unforgettable 4th at Satellite!

We love hearing how Satellite is a part of your love story! Our new tarot reader shared with us that when visiting from San Diego over a year ago, she asked Jess at .co (also of ) where she should go out that night: a roof-top bar or Satellite. Jess replied “Satellite, definitely!” Erica showed up on Latin Dance night (.latindance ) and ended up meeting her now-boyfriend. She now lives here in Wilmington and was a vendor at today’s Satellite market! Full circle 🫶🏻

ALEC CHAMBERS SKATEPARK‼️ 🎉 🙌
Our hearts are full.
Last night, the city council unanimously voted to rename Greenfield Skate Park (Greenfield Grind) in honor of our dear friend, Alec Chambers.
What an incredible and meaningful way to celebrate his life.
Alec brought light and kindness wherever he went. The skate park was one of the places that truly reflected his spirit. He was happiest skating. 🛹 ♥️
This doesn’t take away the pain we still feel or the hole in our hearts since losing him on December 30, 2025. That kind of loss doesn’t fade. But in the midst of that grief, this brings a sense of comfort and even joy-knowing that Alec will continue to inspire, to be remembered, and to be part of the community he loved.
We are so proud and so grateful to see Alec Chambers Skate Park become a reality.
Forever in our hearts. 🫶🏻
