Between 1905 and 1917 the Volstead Act brought an end to the manufacture, sale, and transportation of alcoholic beverages. Liquor consumption dropped and the price for illegal alc
ohol rose, but that did not stop those who wanted to keep drinking. Speakeasy clubs became prominent and the demand for alcohol outweighed the demand for sobriety during that time. The best nights to celebrate some of life’s simplest pleasures were in these speakeasy establishments, and that is why we are bringing C.R’s Hummingbird to Mars to Trolley Square. Elegant handcrafted cocktails, fine wine, and craft beer (largely locally brewed) bring this establishment to life. So join us Thursday-Saturday 5pm-1am to travel back to a time of elegance and sophistication, and enjoy some of life’s simplest pleasures! We offer a full dinner menu from 5pm-10pm, and a light pub fare menu from 5pm-1am every day that we are open. Live entertainment Thursday, Friday & Saturday nights. We take reservations via both email and phone up until 6pm for same day, though advanced notice is recommended for parties of 6 or more.
