We are excited to announce that for the first time (I think) our herd has made the list of top producing Jersey herds in the country! Our actual production for 2018 was
20,425 milk 972 fat 724 protein.
That ranks us 2nd for milk, 4th for fat and 5th for protein nationally among similar sized herds of 80-149 cows. The cow pictured, now 5 years old, is BLJ hired gun Rose. She is one of two 94 point cows here and one of 18 to produce over 25,000 lbs of milk in 2018.
