The American Wine Society (AWS) is for anyone who is interested in wine and wants to learn more about it. Our mission is the "appreciation of wine through education" and our membership includes wine lovers from novice to expert, amateur and professional winemakers, and people in all aspects of the wine trade. With AWS members in forty-five states and over 130 chapters throughout the US, we offer t

he opportunity for members to learn about wine, winemaking, and wine & food pairing - with others who share your love of the grape.

It's with deep regret that I am informing you that the Diamond City AWS Chapter is no longer in operation, problems with additional costs, lack of primary membership and lack of officers. But the good news is that a majority of the Diamond City AWS Chapter Officers and Primary members voted to merge with the Greater Pittston AWS Chapter so that they still have a place to meet (9 minutes away from were they use to meet) St. Johns' Lodge Hall 498 Yatesville Road Jenkins Twp PA 18640 and able to still be a part of the American Wine Society.

Please need your help!!!
One of our Professional members M&M Micro Winery Inc. located at the Sapphire Salon in down town Pittston, is having a raffle for a girl from Pittston who has cancer, they are raffling off 4 cases of wine, the ticket cost is $25 for one or $40 for two. The drawning will take place on the 28th of December 2015 at the sapphire Salon, down town Pittston. Please stop by and purchase some tickets in suppot of this great cause.
