This is a mass text going out to all Inferno employees and fans. I'm sorry to be the bearer of hopefully temporary bad news. Our last day of business will be Sunday May 7th or possibly Wednesday May 10th depending on how much liquor is left after Sunday because our landlord would not renew our lease due to the city licencing dept contacting them to advise them that if our drinking establishment/restaurant licence was renewed at this location that he would lose his grandfathered clause with the city for this location being a bar set up as it is and that he would have to bring the entire building up to city code for all ADA laws along with all city code outdated electrical and plumbing that would have to be all redone. He is not willing to do that because it would cost him 10s of thousands of dollars. So without a leased location the city will not issue our renewal and as everyone knows we have already been looking for a different location without any luck to this point. So we can't serve alcohol after the 10th of May. This all just came about today and I have been trying all day to get this fixed or figure out a solution. If the city would have told me about this at the beginning it could have all been avoided because we would have found a different spot to start with. I'm sorry that this is happening and hopefully it can just be temporary but you all are the first ones to be told so let's make the best of it and make this last week big and something for everyone to remember. I love all of you and thank you all so much for all your hard work and dedication. Love ya always, Robert 😢
