To the Valders Journal and this incredible community — thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the love you have shown Alexa during her journey in America’s Favorite Student, where she proudly finished in 2nd place.
Your coverage was more than just an article. It was encouragement, hope, and a reminder that small communities can have the biggest hearts. During a season of both loss and rebuilding for our family, your support helped lift Alexa’s spirit and gave her confidence to keep pushing forward.
The kindness, positivity, and genuine care shown by the Journal and everyone who shared, voted, commented, and cheered her on will never be forgotten.
