In honor of a legendary woman, we hold heavy hearts over the passing of Dede. She created a world that not too many could ever imagine to understand. With that being said had the ability to raise a family under the duress this job holds. When I first came on, she told me I better be tough(I thought I was a strong woman at the time) but boy did that change. Part of me feels like she was preparing me for battles forthcoming. Her stories were endless, and her sacrifices were real. Now, as her torch is being handed over, may everyone recognize the blood, sweat, and tears that kept this local bar open. May many generations continue to flow through- and may her legacy always be remembered. Until we meet again, always💗
