To our Wheaton community,
After six wonderful years, we have made the bittersweet decision to close the doors of Hale Street Cantina. Our last dinner service will be tomorrow, Sunday, October 11th.
We opened in 2020, in the middle of a pandemic, when nothing about opening a restaurant felt certain. You welcomed us anyway. You embraced a brand-new restaurant during one of the hardest times any of us had known, and because of you we were able to grow and flourish. We will never forget that.
It has been our privilege to be part of your date nights, family dinners, birthdays, celebrations, and ordinary evenings. Thank you for every visit, every kind word, and every time you recommended us to a friend. Thank you as well to our incredible team, past and present, whose hard work and heart made this place what it was.
Saying goodbye isn’t easy. We have loved serving this community, and we leave with deep gratitude for the years you gave us.
If you can, please join us tomorrow for one last dinner. We would love to see you, share a meal, and say thank you in person.
