We’ve closed online registration early due to the overwhelming response. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Vera Adams Memorial Fund so we will offer a limited number of bibs during packet pickup at Marathon Sports Norwell on Friday from 2-6 pm, at BHZ on Saturday from 2-5 pm, and on race day from 8:30-9:00am. Checks or cash only. Seeking a few volunteers to help at registration on Sunday.

The stars are starting to align now that the Pats are going back to the big game and the weather forecast is calling for sunny with temps in the mid-twenties (prefect for you Winter Warriors). Now you just need to pick out an outfit for the costume contest. Registration is close to full so we expect a big crowd. Anticipation is building!

Incredibly, the Pats are going back to the big game again and the costume contest at the Pre-Game 5K will be a great opportunity to show our support for the home team. Get creative and win one of the prizes. Less than fifty bibs left so don’t wait to register if you want in.

We are so happy to announce that a share of the proceeds from our event will benefit the Vera Adams Memorial Fund supporting the new Weymouth Public Library. We can’t think of a better cause in the Weymouth community and an opportunity to memorialize a life well lived. Less than a month to go and registration is filling up quickly. We anticipate reaching our threshold prior to race day so don’t hesitate if you want in. Long sleeve T-shirts to all who register by Jan 15th.

We don’t know if the Pats will make it to the Super Bowl but we do know a few things. There will be a 5K hosted by Barrel House Z again this Super Bowl Sunday in Weymouth. Registration is open and way ahead of last year. Registration includes two free craft beers. You won’t getting any nasty watered down lite beer here. The cost to register goes up tomorrow so don’t wait if you want to run.

The Bamboozled IPA Pre-Game 5K is a collaboration of friends who share a love of running, beer and football. So, this race was conceived while enjoying a bit of Bamboozled in the taproom at BHZ in November, 2017.

We're created this page to keep you up to date as details of our race unfold. Entries are very steady and we project that registration will close on or about Feb 1st as we reach our threshold. Ironically, that's the date that the entry fee goes up so don't wait until the last minute or you could get Bamboozled.
