THIS WOMAN!! My friend Sadie…I love her. She’s like a sister to me. She defines what it is to be a FORCE OF NATURE. There are no words for how grateful I am for what she’s given us. She helped me make this place what it is. I remember her interview from over two years ago, where we instantly clicked talking about Sasha Petraske and mixology history. I’ve never met anyone with more knowledge or skill behind the bar, and she just keeps growing and learning and teaching and sharing. She’s also one of the most generous and caring people I’ve ever met. She and I have had so much fun building this bar, tasting and talking, trying new things, exploring our pallets. I literally could not be more grateful. She’s moving on to a “bigger gig” across the lake, and it doesn’t seem like quite enough to just say we’re going to miss her terribly. But unfortunately tonight is her last night with us at The Knock 😢 so come in and help us give her the sendoff that she deserves. Sadie, we love you so much. Thank you for everything. ❤️ Oh great, now I’m crying at 9am jfc lol

Valentine’s was a smash. People were cheerful, wide-eyed, and dazzled! & sounded absolutely wonderful. T “knocked” it way out of the park with his gnocchi alla vodka, gnocchi ai funghi, and cacio e pepe cannellini. Even the maple-glazed carrots elicited compliments. Sadie charmed folks with bespoke Knocktails and Knock classics while others enjoyed a wonderful wine tasting with .

Anyway, we’re taking a Winter break so that we can rest a bit and come back stronger than ever. We have an incredible array of spring and summer of events already planned (!) and we need to replenish our energy stores in order to keep bringing top-tier experiences to the good people of the Adirondacks and beyond. Sincere thanks for all of your support as we come into our own as a fledging small business. See you in March! XOXO
