You thought we were only doing the melts? We’re officially introducing you to Seacuterie at Westhaven Wines 🌊🐟

If the only tinned fish you’re familiar with is the can of tuna at the grocery store, you’re doing it all wrong. In Spain and Portugal, “conservas” (premium tinned seafood) is treated as a luxurious delicacy. They take the absolute best of the catch, hand-pack it at peak freshness, and let it marinate in quality oils. It actually gets better over time. Think of it like a fine wine or aged cheese, but for seafood. It makes for an immersive tasting experience when paired with wine. No fillers, no mystery fish, just pure, premium goodness. We are putting our own Pacific Northwest spin on this European classic by using Merino’s tinned fish. It’s local, high-quality, and delicious! 🔥

You already know and love our Albacore Tuna Melt, but we heard the complaints loud and clear: it’s too hard to find high-quality local seafood around here that isn’t deep-fried. How about some warm, comforting local seafood, but with a little more soul.

Since it’s May, we’re raising a glass for Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. We’re honored to feature Fiona Mak, the powerhouse behind Smak Wines. Not only is her Rosé incredible, but she made history as the first Asian woman to own a winery in Washington state, starting at just 32 years old! 🍷

Described as a “beach party in a glass” this Rosé is bright, fruity, & mineral driven! It was crafted to pair beautifully with spicy Asian food, sushi, & fresh seafood. Perfect for Westport! 🦪🔥
