51st Ward Beer Company Beer with flavor. Not flavored beer. Chicago has 50 political wards. We belong to the 51st Ward, the only non-political ward in the Chicago.

The 51st Ward to us represents not only Chicago but the broader Chicago area and beyond. Chicago is the epicenter of the nation's brewing renaissance and Tim Hoerman has been part of the the Chicago brewing scene for several years. perial Stout won third place at the 2013 Midwest Brewers Fest in Plainfield, Illinois - the very first time it was available commercially. Now Tim brings Krispy Karl and his other creative brews to 51st Ward Beer Company. Tim's brewing accomplishments include following awards:
