This week we take a backwards glance at a legendary Peoria landmark restaurant, Sky Harbor Steakhouse! Sky Harbor had it all, a vintage look, a great bar, a piano bar with live music and wonderful owners and staff.

Well, all good things come to an end and Sky Harbor shut its doors for good back in that foul year of 2020. Luckily, I got a lot of photos from the years I spent hanging out in this unique bar and restaurant and you can check those out today.

The Best Of MBIP - My blog is on hold for today (it’ll be back tomorrow) so here’s a post from the past that you might not have seen.

Exactly eight years ago today, I put up this post with my Saturday night dinner at Sky Harbor Steakhouse. I had a fantastic filet dinner, saw Daryl Klusendorf, Jimmy Binkley was tickling the ivories at the piano bar and I saw some old friends and made some new ones.
