West Peoria's original stag bar, Mike's Tavern first opened its doors in 1938. Purchased from Mike Jakoby in 1976, Tony Ward owned and operated Mike's for over 35 years. Though women have now long been welcome in Mike's, little else has changed. Full of character, memories, and most of all friends, Mike's has stood the test of time. In 2020 Mark Donahue and Bob Bullock purchased Mike's Tavern from

The Mike's Tavern Golf outing is going to be held on July 25th with a 9 AM shotgun start at the illustrious Madison Natioal Golf Course. Proceeds will benefit The Boys And Girls Club Of Greater Peoria. Great food at the tavern following the round! Sign up sheets available now at Mike's.
