The The Shillelagh Club / Friendly Sons of the Shillelagh-Essex County and the Essex Shillelaghs GAA are proud to host the 24th Annual Irish Sports Expo on Sunday, June 14, from 12–7 PM.

This annual celebration brings together people of all ages and backgrounds for a day filled with Irish heritage, sports, music, food, and family fun. From Gaelic games and rugby to youth activities and live entertainment, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Whether you have deep Irish roots or are simply looking for a great way to spend the day with family and friends, we warmly invite you to come and experience one of Essex County’s most beloved traditions. New faces are always welcome!

AND... ⚽To kick off the World Cup tournament, FIFA NYNJ is bringing their Skyline to Shoreline Road Tour™ to this year’s Street Fair! 🚍This exciting fan experience celebrates all things soccer - with interactive games, giveaways, and music – to get everyone hyped for this global sporting phenomenon.

🅿️ Park at 80 Main and 59 Main Street lots - you can walk in or there will be golf carts transporting people to the fair; Washington School (289 Main St) - walk in only.

The Street Fair runs along Main Street, from the Edison Lofts to the end of the CVS parking lot/Community House.

Young athletes ages U6–U12 are invited to learn, play, and have fun with Guest Coach Cian O'Dea, New York GAA Development Officer and New York Senior Football player, at this special Gaelic Games Clinic during the Irish Sports Expo.

Whether your child is brand new to Gaelic Football or already plays with Essex Shillelaghs GAA, this is a great opportunity to develop skills, build confidence, and enjoy an afternoon of sport with friends.
