We’re thrilled to announce our partnership with , an incredible team bringing together the rich traditions of Southern barbecue and Lao cuisine right here in Nashville.

Meet Akinde Olagundoye, our new Managing Partner and Beverage Director (, ).

With 23 years of experience in hospitality, Akinde’s approach is rooted in what matters most: people. He got his start waiting tables at Red Lobster in Brooklyn, where he developed a service style grounded in warmth, consistency, and attention to detail. From there, a curiosity about the rhythm and craft behind the bar led him deeper into mixology, honing his skills at Amendment XXI in Huntsville and later at Skull’s Rainbow Room right here in Nashville.

At HHB, you’ll usually find him reaching for an Eighth Day IPA, but what really drew him here was something bigger than the beer. After meeting Nate, it was clear this was a partnership built on shared values and a genuine connection.

His vision for the new space? “To bring a comfortable, welcoming space to the community that highlights locally sourced and fresh ingredients. High quality, no pretense.”
