We're dedicated to providing a unique and enjoyable experience centered around a curated selection of wines and a menu featuring delicious tasting plates, shareable bruschetta boards, satisfying dinner entrees, and a delightful weekend brunch. 🍷 How many local and regional producers are behind one evening at Taste?

Take a guess before you swipe.

Here's what most people picture: a neighborhood w**e cafe pulling from one or two broad distribution catalogues. Efficient. Predictable. Safe.

The real number is larger, and it changes what an ordinary evening in the room actually means.

A single night at Taste connects you to a web of West Linn area and Pacific Northwest producers. A bakery. Small-lot w**emakers. Regional farms.

That plate of bruschetta you share across the table? It traces back to a neighbor.

That glass of Viognier you order by the glass, low commitment, no financial gamble, just to see if you like it? A maker, a relationship, a name we know.

Every plate passed around and every glass poured is a small act of neighborhood commerce.

We built Taste at 1914 Willamette Falls Drive because West Linn deserved a room that felt like it truly belonged here.

That's kind of the whole idea.

A first visit at TASTE tells you what's possible. The second one is where you settle in.

Here are three things worth knowing before you come.

☀ Tasting plates are a real option.

Most w**e bars are dinner-only territory. We open the experience up to daytime too, and the menu translates just as well over a midday glass as it does at 7pm.

🍽 The menu rewards a group.

The shareable plates are built for the table, not one person. Come with your favorite people and you can actually move through the menu, from bacon-wrapped dates to baked meatballs to balsamic steak bites, without committing to a single dish.

🍷 W**e discovery takes time.

We pour over 20 w**es by the glass, so one visit barely scratches it. Regulars treat each return as a chance to try a variety they skipped last time. That's by design, not accident.

🍷 Here's a w**e myth worth busting: a pricier bottle always means a better night.

Price tells you about effort and rarity in the cellar. It doesn't tell you what's going to taste great next to what's on your plate tonight.

Case in point: our $15 (only $8.00 before 5pm) glass of Sangiovese out sells our $60 bottles on Friday nights. People aren't cutting corners. It's genuinely the better match for the balsamic steak bites.

Same story with a $15 glass of bright, high-acid Vermentino next to the Shrimp Scampi. It'll outshine a $70 Napa Chard in the same seat every time.

Pairing context matters more than the number on the tag.
