Lisa Tran grew up in a salon environment before working professionally as a nail technician. “I saw firsthand how many people felt they had to compromise the integrity of their natural nails in order to achieve long-lasting manicures or trend-led looks,” the founder & owner of LA PAR says.
After developing several allergic reactions, Lisa decided to turn her attention to producing products and systems that support natural nail health – without compromising on high-quality results.
Following years of development and formula testing, LA PAR was created. “Our ethos is centred around intentional beauty, education and wellness,” Lisa reveals. “We take a refined approach to nailcare – respecting the natural anatomy of the nail and prioritising long-term nail health."
One notable name who has supported the success of LA PAR is businesswoman & internet personality, Kim Kardashian.
From thousands of applicants across various industries, Lisa was selected to receive direct business and branding mentorship from Kim as part of her Masterclass series: a moment Lisa describes as both ‘surreal and incredibly affirming’.
“One of the biggest takeaways was the importance of brand clarity and consistency,” she says. “Kim spoke about ensuring every touchpoint – from packaging and messaging to social media and customer experience – immediately communicates the brand’s identity and emotional feeling.”
