Before it was Keys, this iconic Sunset Strip address had already lived many lives. Originally home to the iconic Café La Maze in the 1930s, the space later became Sherry’s Restaurant & Café — a glamorous Hollywood hangout for movie stars, mobsters, and the backdrop to some of LA’s most infamous nightlife lore.

By the 1960s, it transformed into legendary rock venue Gazzarri’s, which helped launch acts such as The Doors, Van Halen, and Guns N’ Roses. The years that followed brought Billboard Live, The Key Club — which hosted acts like Pennywise and the Black Eyed Peas — and later 1 OAK, with each era shaping the nightlife history of Sunset Boulevard.

Now, Keys is writing its own chapter as a Sunset Blvd staple. 🗝️
