Wing night rolls on at Hawks Nest Lodge & Restaurant!

Every Wednesday - open to close - wings are HALF OFF. Grilled or fried and with a pile of dry rub and sauce options.

Pair it up with the updated Fall Happy Hour from 4-6pm on weekdays - $2 off domestics and $5 canned cocktails and seltzers.

Kitchen has a fantastic scratch made tomato bisque (so worth adding the grilled cheese!)

And don’t forget Trivia Thursdays! 6pm every Thursday night.

And just like that, another summer is behind us! The maple trees are starting to turn, and things are shaping up to be a spectacular autumn up here along the Dead River.

THANK YOU so much to everyone who stopped by, stayed a few nights, shared some laughs, and made some great memories with us this summer! You all are truly what make this place so special!

We're not going anywhere, though - don't you worry!

We'll soon settle into some routine Fall Hours, but for this week we're just making a minor change:

Wednesday: 4pm-8pm, everything else stays the same: 11a-8pm.

What in the world else are ya gonna do on this drizzly Thursday evening?

New specials onboard for another Trivia Night by Celeste at Hawks Nest Lodge & Restaurant!

From the kitchen:

Chicken Alfredo - Pappardelle noodles draped in a rich alfredo with sautéed peppers, onions mushrooms and and topped with your choice of fried or grilled chicken. Served with buttery garlic bread and an optional house salad.

And from behind the bar:

Drama Queen - equal parts Bacardi, Aperol, St-Germain and fresh lime juice. With dash of bitters, chilled and served up. This refreshing bev will chase the clouds away, for sure.

These among several other great specials and standards, and of course desserts by Beth’s Bakery are ready for you and your crew tonight!

Another B E A - utiful Thursday and another TRIVIA invite!

We’ve loved watching trivia become a weekly staple for many of you and hope to continue this tradition right into the fall!

We try to always have something fresh for you to get the weekend going, and tonight we have a new homemade soup by Mr. Rob in the kitchen.

It’s a rich and creamy Corn Chowdah - fresh mirepoix made with a bacon roux, the perfect blend of spices and fresh, local corn and topped with hot and fresh bacon crumble.

Come on in, get yourself a crock, and see if Celeste can stump you with this week’s brain teasers.

It’s shaping up to be a heckuva sunset over the Dead River! Only so many more of these to catch this summer from the front porch of Hawks Nest Lodge & Restaurant…

Oh, and can confirm - the Shrimp Po’ Boy is an instant crowd favorite. Get it while ya can!

If you’re coming over for Trivia Night tonight (and we think you definitely should!), you are going to want to give these new specials a go!

*Shrimp Po’ Boy*
TEN tasty fried shrimp, on a bed of lettuce, tomato and a soft 8” sub roll, with a drizzle of house made remoulade. Served with our fresh hand cut fries.

*Homemade Chicken & Sausage Gumbo*
A hearty 10oz portion of Cajun inspired gumbo with just enough kick, filled to the brim with Andouille sausage and shredded dark chicken meat. Made from scratch and LIMITED SUPPLY - don’t miss it!
