We had the most perfect Cape Cod day for our annual Labor Day party for our crew. Thank you to Liberte, The Schooner Inc. for an incredible sail, and thank you to The Chart Room Restaurant for an awesome late lunch. Mostly- thank you to our hard working crew and incredible customers who continue to show up for us going into year 34. Couldn’t do it without all of you 🫶🏼 Happy shoulder season every body!! ☀️

Jane F. Norton is running for a seat on the Falmouth School Committee because, she said, she has been through some of the challenges the committee is currently grappling with. Qualifications on her resume include experience as an educator, a parent, an elementary and intermediate school principal, a teacher’s union officer and a Falmouth Hall of Fame Class of 2025 field hockey coach.

As a 30-year resident of Falmouth and a Bourne High School graduate of the Class of 1980, Norton said she has a strong understanding of the educational landscape on Cape Cod. She began her career as a physical education teacher at Bourne High School in 1993 and eventually served as a middle school health teacher, principal of Peebles Elementary and, most recently, principal at Bourne Intermediate School. She retired as principal of the intermediate school in 2024.

She also coached field hockey for 21 years at Falmouth High School and helped to start the high school’s girls lacrosse program.
