Let's welcome Zinnia Moon to Hollow Pines tonight at 6

The local pop singer-songwriter and artist is studying songwriting at Belmont University in Nashville, TN.

Moon has a distinct and unique vocal tone and energy, creating a timeless performance. Captivating my audience with my lyrical ability, prevalent within my songwriting. She incorporates exuberant vocal inflections that appeal to today’s pop culture.

Then at 10, we have The LaStella Brothers
JP and Jake are the hardworking brothers of rock and roll who play a mix of reggae, country and classic rock.

Boatbuilding has a long and important history in our area. This is Modern Boatworks, owned by storied local boatbuilder, Carl Adams.

Adams was born into a family of carpenters and apprenticed with a design and boat building operation in Atlantic City. He opened his own shop there at the age of 19 and had several locations, where he went from sneakboxes to larger boats that were used by both the prohibition-era rum runners and also the Coast Guard that chased the rum runners.

He eventually opened Modern Boatworks in Port Republic to build oceangoing fishing boats. During WWII, both Carl and his son Alvin served to help the military build rescue boats. He continued to build classic wooden boats including his production boat, the 24-foot Jersey Skiff.
We are excited to share in the history of our area as we get into our first summer at Hollow Pines.
