The world is changing fast,
And many are confused,
Some feel that they are helping,
While others are feeling used.

Sometimes we feel helpless,
In this world that we made,
Though we made our own choices,
In the laws that we laid.

We have our first amendment,
And our voices can be heard,
Stay strong, and stand tall,
And always keep your word.

So , during this pandemic,
Stay healthy & stay strong,
We all have to live in this world,
Whether it's right or its wrong...

This year has been hard
And money is tight
Its taking everything I have
To make this Christmas right !

Its almost impossible
To make everyone smile
Ill do what it takes
Ill walk that extra mile

I've come so far
I've been truly blessed
I've straightened my life up
It was such a mess.

With the New Year upon us
I hope to see more
I'm excited to see
What life has in store

The holidays are upon us
Its time for Christmas cheers
Everyone is celebrating
With eggnog , wine , & beer

Everyone is shopping
For all the girls and boys
To hear all the giggles
When they receive their toys

Such a wonderful sight
To see them laugh & smile
It's worth all the effort
To walk that extra mile

So if you have children
And you want to spread some cheer
Walk that extra mile
Christmas comes but once a year.

We've been friends
For many years
We've shared many laughs
And cried thru many beers

We've had good times
And we've had bad
We've laughed til we cried
And cried because we were sad

I've been hurt and lost
You helped me find my way
I thank God for our friendship
Each and everyday

And even though your moving
Our friendship will not end
Ill always be here for you
My sister , my best friend.

Life is full
Of ups & downs
Twist & turns
Smiles & frowns.

Life can make you
Laugh & smile
Somehow find peace
Even if its been awhile.

Yes , we all climb up
And at times fall back down
Keep your faith in God
And he'll turn your frown around.

The fireworks are over
Its time to unwind
The Weather was beautiful
The company was kind .

The children were playing
Quite a sight to see
Ranging from ages 14
To baby

Yes we all had fun
Even the adults too
With the kids outside
They had no clue.

Our children are getting older
And its pretty safe t o see
That soon they'll be all grown up
And they won't need me.

These are the times
We must be strong
Believe that we taught them
Between right and wrong

Its going to be hard
To let your child free
You always want to protect them
From the dangers that you see

So when they're all grown up
And they move away from home
I hope they always visit
So I don't have to be alone.

I sit beside my window
And wonder why the sky isn't blue
Then I realized
I wasn't around you

Its been too long
Since I've seen you smile
But then I guess
I haven't seen you in awhile

Don't be a stranger
Because I miss you my friend
And we never can tell
When this world might end
