Wisconsin State Fair officials announced today the finalists for the 2024 Sporkies & Drinkies competition, which showcases fair vendorโs creative food and non-alcoholic beverage creations. Eight Sporkies finalists have been selected from a pool over 37 entries and four Drinkies made the cut from 20 entries. The winners will be chosen by a panel of local celebrity judges on July 31 based on appearance, presentation, creativity, originality and taste and will be announced prior to opening day of the State Fair.
All Sporkies and Drinkies items will be available for purchase during the Wisconsin State Fair, which runs August 1-11 at State Fair Park in West Allis. Giant 13-foot "Golden Sporks and Drinkies Statues" will be outside each finalist and winner location during the event. Meanwhile, all entrants will display stickers at their individual locations.
