To our Wesley Chapel community and cherished guests,
It is with full hearts, deep gratitude, and a touch of sadness that we share the news that O’Brien’s Irish Pub will be closing our doors at the end of February, marking the conclusion of our 10-year lease at The Village Market.
At the end of 2024, The Village Market strip center was sold, and in early 2025 we began discussions with the new ownership in hopes of securing a renewed lease. Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, we were unable to reach an agreement that felt sustainable for both sides. After much consideration, we made the difficult decision not to renew.
What we can say — with absolute certainty — is how grateful we are. For the past decade, you’ve made O’Brien’s more than just a pub; you made it a neighborhood home. From unforgettable St. Patrick’s Day parking lot parties and Halloween celebrations, to Super Bowls, New Year’s Eve countdowns, live bands, trivia nights, karaoke, and countless birthdays and anniversaries — we’ve shared moments that we’ll carry with us forever.
To our incredible staff — some of whom have been with us from the very beginning — thank you. Your dedication, passion, and heart are the foundation of everything we built. We truly couldn’t have done this without each and every one of you.
As we enter our final month, we hope you’ll continue to stop by, support us, see your favorite team members, raise a pint, and reminisce with us about the memories we’ve made together. Join us for one final celebration — our Irish Goodbye Party on February 21st, where we’ll be serving our beloved Corned Beef & Cabbage one last time.
While our doors at The Village Market may be closing, remember this: when one door closes, another one opens — and the memories we’ve shared will always remain.
From the bottom of our hearts,
Thank you for 10 unforgettable years. Sláinte! 🍀
