Now serving mussels!

Here's a fun backstory about Alex and Tim's venture into owning the Rendezvous:

Alex loves a good mussels dish and has been trying to get it on the menu since they bought it in 2024. She loves a classic moules-frites and wanted an excuse to eat them. After 2 years of trying, Tim finally sourced some mussels he would be proud to serve and brought them into the 'vous.

Here's where there was a problem. He wanted to do a Thai coconut curry mussels which is NOT what Alex wanted. But always being willing to give something a try, Alex reluctantly told Tim to make them and we'd try them out.

If you know Alex, you'll know that she has strong opinions on food (and other topics), but when she tried Tim's Thai coconut curry mussels she ate some crow and admitted she was wrong. That's how good they are.

Come in and give them a try. Althought they're an appetizer, they'd go great with some fries or extra bread!

Our first ever w**e dinner was a huge success! We had so much fun putting this together and having you all in. We can't wait for the next one!
