🐾 An Update on the Patio at Stone House Tavern
If you’ve stopped by lately, you’ve probably seen the beautiful new insulated walls, accordion door, and windows on our patio! We’re so excited to be able to offer a more comfortable, weather-friendly dining space throughout the year.
With those improvements comes one change for our four-legged guests.
Because our newly renovated space is now fully enclosed, it is considered an indoor dining area under Ohio food-service regulations. That means only trained service animals, as defined by law, are permitted inside the tavern and our newly enclosed dining area.
But our dog-friendly days aren't gone! 🐾
Dogs are still welcome at our remaining open-air patio tables!
To help us stay compliant with Ohio regulations, we ask our guests with dogs to follow a few house rules:
🐕 Use the Outside Entrance: Dogs joining you at our open-air tables must enter directly from outside using the side walkway. They cannot pass through the tavern or newly enclosed dining area.
🐕 Keep Them Leashed: Dogs must remain properly controlled by a leash or other effective means while dining with us.
🐕 Four on the Floor: Paws stay on the ground, please! Dogs cannot sit, stand, or lie on chairs, benches, tables, or other furnishings.
🐕 Vaccinations Required: Dogs visiting our open-air dining area must be properly vaccinated as required by state and local law.
We know how much our guests have enjoyed bringing their pups to the patio, and we're happy that we can continue welcoming them at our open-air tables while following the regulations that apply to our new space.
