On Wednesday, September 9th, the public is invited to a special reception celebrating 90 years of the MI-DE-GA Theatre and honoring Mike and Gary Flexer for their dedication to this treasured piece of our community’s history.

For nine decades, the MI-DE-GA has been more than a movie theatre—it has been a gathering place, a landmark, and a beloved part of countless memories.

Please join us as we celebrate Mike and Gary and wish the MI-DE-GA Theatre a very Happy 90th Birthday!

wow. 5 hours ago my life changed directions. Excited & scared. At this point all I can see is a whole lot more work & debt. I'm sure it will all be fine. A fantastic future ahead. I always said I could & would retire at 92, so I guess nothing really has changed. All I have to say is "BOTTOMS UP"!!!

It seems like a bit since I've been on here. So my hopes of getting to see my mom in Georgia happened. But before getting to her I had someone rear end the back of the rental car. Pretty bad. It's been 8 days and the concussion is still hanging in. There's so much insurance stuff I have to get through, especially since it was a rental. So.... at least I have the time to be on the phone, emails & rest in between. Believe me I miss y'all! Stay safe. Any extra positive energy to bring me through this is appreciated. Thank you.

Going to meet some of the "Sunday morning" peeps for breakfast at MJ's Diner in New Johnsonville. A bit of a drive but some of these folks drove to us from there & some even further. I know about 6 counties that would come see us. We sure did appreciate it & we do miss you! Stay safe!

I was going to post some memories of some of the fundraisers we did in the past but changed my mind. For those who knew us, you know what we did. We were truly for people. All people. We did it for y'all. Thanks for the support you gave us. We had the best people! To say I'm already missing y'all is an understatement. Stay safe!
