Have you participated in our Hammerschlagen competions in the past. How did you do? We'll be playing again Saturday, October 3rd at 2:30 PM in front of the games stage - always free to play. No experience is needed to enjoy the tournament, but we will have stations available for practice if you'd like to try it out.

Each year, we listen to your suggestions about what you'd like available to drink at Waverly Oktoberfest and do what we can to provide an appropriately diverse offering of beverages. You've said you wanted more alternatives to b**r, you wanted w**es, c***rs, seltzers, you asked for more non-alcoholic options, you want gluten-free beverages. We think you are going to be pretty excited about what we (and our partners) are pouring.

Cedar Ridge is bringing their trailer back with cocktails, spirits, and w**e.

A local vendor is bringing mocktails and will be conveniently located for those wanting more 0% options.

Paha C***r will have a Cherry and a Honey Rhubarb c***r available.

We'll have a a Ten Wasp seltzer (produced in Sumner) on tap.

We have a couple of popular Athletic Brewing N/A b**rs available again.

And we'll still have a number of b**rs from Germany (Ayinger and Paulaner) and around Iowa (Bremer Brewing, Second State, Tellurian, Singlespeed, Big Grove, and Backpocket).

Plus the big name seltzers and b**rs that are in high demand each year.

And our friends from CRAZE are back for Saturday afternoon of the festival. And flights of our poured Bierhalle beverages will be offered Saturday until 3 PM.

However you imbibe, we have you covered.

Our Volunteer sign-up is ready. Volunteers get free entry to the festival for both days, a drink token, and a Volunteer t-shirt. How would you like to be involved?

- Setting up on Thursday or Friday morning
- Welcoming guests and taking payment at the gates
- Checking IDs for wristbands
- Handling kegs
- Helping run games
- Selling beverage tokens and answering guest questions
- Tearing down and packing away for next year on Sunday
