When you think of where wine is made you probably think of Italy and France or maybe Napa Valley USA. But did you know the oldest evidence of ancient (grape) wine production has was in Georgia c. 6000 BC followed by Iran c. 5000 BC, then Greece c. 4500 BC, and Armenia c. 4100 BC. Wine did not appear in Italy till c. 4000 BC.
And the earliest wine from rice, honey and fruit was claimed by China in c. 7000 BC.
