Our Story
Jud-son's, or Jud's as people fondly refer to it, is a second-generation family business located in downtown Waupun. The business was started by Judson, "Jud" and Thelma Schlieve more than 60 years ago. As the business grew, so did the couple's family and it was not uncommon to see any one of the couple's seven children helping in the business. With Jud, everyone was family, especially customers. In 1977 the business was destroyed by a fire. Jud-son's commitment to family and community lead the family to rebuild a new 16-lane bowling and recreation facility in downtown Waupun. Today, family remains a cornerstone of the business with Jud's daughter, Jamie and her husband Glenn, operating the business. Jud’s offers structured league play, family bowling options, space for events and parties, a bar/pub and billiard activities. Whether you're an avid bowler, are looking for indoor recreation opportunities, or are planning an event, welcome! We're looking forward to serving you!
