🌍 Fun wine fact before Wednesday night...

The 44th parallel is a line of latitude that circles the entire globe. It runs straight through Bordeaux, France and Tuscany, Italy....two of the most celebrated wine regions in the world.

It also runs straight through Northeast Wisconsin.

That's not a coincidence, that's exactly why Steve Johnson planted his first vines in Kewaunee back in 2005 and named his winery Parallel 44. Same latitude. Same long growing season. Same potential for something special.

Fast forward to 2026: Parallel 44 just took home 30 medals at the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition, the largest wine competition in North America including 11 Double Gold and Gold medals. Competing against nearly 1,000 wineries from across the country.

Steve is bringing those wines to Spring City this Wednesday, June 10th.

🎬 Meet the man behind the wine — watch this before June 10th.

Steve Johnson and his wife Maria were lawyers who honeymooned in Napa and came home asking: Why not Wisconsin? Nearly two decades later, they've built one of the state's premier wineries from the ground up — planting on the same latitude as Tuscany and Bordeaux, pioneering grapes no one else was growing, and winning awards against France, Italy, and California.

On June 10th, Steve is bringing his wines to us — and we can't wait for you to taste them. Two sessions available: 6:00 PM and 7:45 PM. Paired with cheese & charcuterie, of course
