We are deeply saddened by the passing of Alex Banasik, our friend and longtime owner of Down Under.

Alex was a true pillar of the bar and live music community. His vision and passion helped shape the scene we all enjoy today. He mentored us when we purchased Ducktail Lounge and again when we took on Kenny’s Garage, always generous with his wisdom and encouragement.

Rest in peace, Alex. You will be greatly missed.
