Gordies bar Stop by for a cold one, and watch the game!! John and Heath Kramer recently purchased Shorty's bar in Watkins. They took over December 1st.

It is now called Gordies Bar in honor of their dad, Gordie Kramer. Gordies will be open for business as of 9:00 am on December 2nd. Drink specials will start right away for the first 10 customers who will get their second drink free on Wednesday, December 2nd. There will be an early bird special from 2-4 which will be buy one get one free, and happy hour from 4-7pm which will be $1 off everything.

Join us for happy hour Monday-Friday from 4-7pm. During happy hour everything is $1 off for the first week, and $0.50 after that. Monday nights:
-Free Texas Hold 'Em (prize will be based on the number of players)
-Monday night football special: second half of the game buy one beer (drink) get one free
Tuesday nights:
-Free NFL picks (winner gets the choice of a free T-shirt or a case of beer)
-Bingo (starting the first Tuesday in January)
Wednesday nights:
-Drink specials for broomball players
Thursday nights:
-Happy hour for dart league
Friday nights:
-Meat raffle at 5:30
Saturdays:
-Buy one get one free from 11:30am-1pm
Sundays:
-Come in to sign up for the Vikings game. A winner will be drawn for buy one get one free each quarter. We will be doing a "Question of the Day" that will be posted here on our page, on Twitter, and in the bar. You cannot post the answer on Facebook or Twitter, or the question will be voided. You must come in and answer the question and you will receive your second drink free! We have a "wall of Gordie" up in the bar. If you bring in a picture of Gordie that we haven't seen before you can hang it on the wall and get your second drink free. T-shirts, hoodies, hats, zip ups, and can coozies will be for sale at the bar. The game will always be on at Gordies, so bring a friend and come grab a beer or drink while you watch the game! At Gordies the excitement doesn't have to stop at 1:00 am. The city approved the licensing for the bar to stay open until 2:00 am for an extra hour of fun!

It’s been almost two years since we opened the door to Gordies bar, so of course we have to celebrate! Join us on December 2nd for our two year anniversary! We are going to be doing two-for-one drinks and beers from 11am-2pm and from 9pm-11pm we will have $2 shots and rail drinks. We’ll see you December 2nd for the celebration! 💃🏽🕺🏽🍻

Change of plans for Halloween weekend! We are going to be one of the stops for the Watkins Pub Crawl. You can find all of the details for the event on the Red Goat’s page.
