On the morning of October 31st, 2025, we woke up early, filled with pure excitement to prepare for our favorite holiday—Halloween. Then, our lives became a true horror.
At 9:05 that morning, all our dreams were shattered with a phone call: “The bar is on fire.”
The magnitude of this loss has left us shaken and heartbroken. To stand there watching all our dreams, passion, hard work, and livelihoods go up in flames before our eyes—completely helpless—has left us devastated beyond words.
The outpouring of support, kindness, and love extended to us has warmed our hearts. We are forever grateful.
We couldn’t be more thankful for all the friends who have become family, and for all the moments we’ve shared together—every Christmas, every birthday, every milestone. From graduations and weddings to welcoming children and grandchildren, and even through the hard times, we have always stood together as family.
It was more than just a bar—it was a home. A place that held our hearts and souls.
Our deepest respect and heartfelt gratitude go out to the Waterbury, Wolcott, and Naugatuck Fire Departments. Your fearlessness, precision, and unwavering strength in the face of tragedy were nothing short of heroic. You stood tall when we needed you most. You are all truly incredible.
Though we now face uncertainty, we hold on to hope and faith. We will keep you updated on our progress. There’s a long road ahead — but if anyone can do it, I believe it is us!!!
As Mrs. Dee always said, “We’ll see you on the flip side.”
