First off, we’re closed this coming Friday, the 22nd. We’ll be celebrating some pretty incredible folks…probably the only time we’ll ever do this. It warms our heart to offer our space to some friends and family to celebrate in…but it also breaks our heart a little to not be here with everyone. Sorry, but also, not sorry. Tell Ehren if you have negative feelings about it, he’ll try to make it better.

Whoa! Spring came on HOT! 83° yesterday, and the temperature will vary, obviously, over the next couple weeks…but wow…

We’ll be talking about Hill Farmsteads load-out of events this year, go check them out, and looking forward to all the goodness that comes along with that.

BEER STUFF:
Traunstein Josef is pouring like a dream right now.

We’ve been pouring several different representations of Mosaic hopped beers from a couple breweries, if it’s your favorite hop, come on in!

FOOD STUFF:
Caprese Chicken Nachos have been making people roll their eyes on the first bite with delight.

One of my favorites the Griddled Chicken Sandwich is doing another victory lap.

The Naughty Jon Burger is a more-than-worthy temporary addition to our incredible burgers on the menu.

It’s happening…we are doing a couple fun things for the Here & Now over the next couple of weeks.

There are only about a dozen orders of the wings since we HAD to test them for the first run…plus Bernie & Phil had to tell us if they were any good. (They’re good)

New menu after May! Plus we’ve got some very exciting plans for specials as well. Chef is making magic in our tiny but mighty kitchen.

Plus…keep an eye out for more Bissel Brothers brewing back in VT. We’ll be tapping our next week, but there’s a number of places that’ll be putting it on this week…I’m just excited for it to be back in the market and want to talk about it!

First post in a little bit. I prioritized things other than the best that is social media over the last several weeks. HOWEVER, if you’re one of the people that has stopped me to say you like these videos, THANK YOU! It’s been several of you lately and it warms my heart.


NEW MENU at the end of the of May, look for seasonally returning favorites as well as some new items. Also some summer season cocktails will be making an appearance.

Our beer list has items from Belgium, Germany, Scotland, and more…but most are from within 150 miles, and most of those are from VT! We’ll have a host of other things over the next several months from all over the globe.

Also a great selection of NA beverages both beer, cocktail, and the usual suspects.

Other than that stuff…we miss you, we like seeing your face. Thanks to those of you that have made it from near and far.

We’re getting ready to reopen on the 21st! It’s been a long two weeks for us, and as many have said, without us.

Thursday the 23rd; Foam 10 year anniversary first stop is here, come on in and say hello to their team, and try their anniversary brews!

Saturday the 25th is the Waterbury Onesie Pub Crawl. Town will be a-buzz with fun loving individuals. It makes for a good time whether you’re participating or people watching!

We have some projects we want to get done here, and it’s that time of year again! We’ll be closed from April 5th thru April 20th. We reopen on April 21st.

I know, we’ve failed you. We’ll do our best to make it up to you when we come back. There’s never a time where we can do this and not disappoint someone, so if it’s you this time, shoot me a message and tell me how we’ve ruined your trip…we’ll take it to heart.

Don’t worry, nothing’s changing that will shock you. As with previous years it’s mostly all about improving how our space feeds our systems, and how it supports our staff. Which, in turn, improves your experience as our beloved patrons. Well…some of you anyway…Phil had better behave.

Anyway…chances are you’ll see people doing things and cleaning throughout the closure, yell hello.

Alright, here’s the important stuff: now you’re armed with knowledge, and that’s the valuable stuff…

We sadly lost our Howl Bier Storyteller poster due to a stumble and a tragic tearing…while process our loss, we’ll keep our eyes to the future for the next beautiful graphic marvel from Howl…

In the meantime, we are closing from the 5th to the 20th of April. We’ll be doing a bunch of work inside and out, not meant to change, but to improve systems flow for employees. Your experience is made better by improving their experience!

Also, tickets are disappearing for the fabled Waterbury Onesie Pub Crawl! Get ‘em now!
