To those of you that either foot the bill, feel inspired, or whatever form you decide someone meets the description…Happy Fathers Day.

Here’s hoping today was what you needed. Celebrate yourself, or your Father. We went to a baseball game.

I also know a mom whose birthday was today…and her husband wouldn’t be a father if she wasn’t born today…was the point she made…which was pretty funny and true.

So, be thankful for fathers if you feel it, or be thankful for the people that helped a father to exist…whatever works for you.

See you all this coming weekend for Waterburys Not Quite Independence Day Parade! It’s a darn good time, and you don’t want to miss it.

Not much editing today, just a two minute video. We just had a Tornado warning?!? Everything seems back to normal though. Vermonts so beautiful even in a rainstorm, small pockets of fog rolling off the hills and mountains make it look like a Lord Of The Rings scene, or Jurassic Park.

Awesome beers on and food specials, I’ll post those in a separate post in a minute.

World Cup is on, beer is flowing, Chef Cory’s specials are making the weather bearable.

Just Ehren waxing poetic about community…we had an adventure this morning moving a cooler for some community members! Sherrys Trail Bars, they’re wicked good!

We also were nominated for the “Best Bar Outside Chittenden County” in the Seventh Day’s, Seven Daisyes Awards. We never really push folks, and usually watch the results with interest, but is always nice to be nominated…so thank you to anyone that felt passionate enough to cast a vote.

First off, we’re closed this coming Friday, the 22nd. We’ll be celebrating some pretty incredible folks…probably the only time we’ll ever do this. It warms our heart to offer our space to some friends and family to celebrate in…but it also breaks our heart a little to not be here with everyone. Sorry, but also, not sorry. Tell Ehren if you have negative feelings about it, he’ll try to make it better.

Whoa! Spring came on HOT! 83° yesterday, and the temperature will vary, obviously, over the next couple weeks…but wow…

We’ll be talking about Hill Farmsteads load-out of events this year, go check them out, and looking forward to all the goodness that comes along with that.

BEER STUFF:
Traunstein Josef is pouring like a dream right now.

We’ve been pouring several different representations of Mosaic hopped beers from a couple breweries, if it’s your favorite hop, come on in!

FOOD STUFF:
Caprese Chicken Nachos have been making people roll their eyes on the first bite with delight.

One of my favorites the Griddled Chicken Sandwich is doing another victory lap.

The Naughty Jon Burger is a more-than-worthy temporary addition to our incredible burgers on the menu.
