The Pitch Tavern

Welcome to The Pitch Tavern, DC’s first upscale sports bar and restaurant! We have created a venue that appeals to a diverse crowd, including families, sports fans, and (most importantly) the residents of the Petworth community. Like our neighborhood, our vibe is a little Caribbean, meets Southern hospitality, meets Americana. Who doesn't want that? We offer a two-level space that treats sports fans to an exciting viewing experience featuring a projection TV and multiple flat screen TV's. Along with being a proud supporter of DC’s home teams, The Pitch Tavern is a major destination for international sports, including Premier League and La Liga matches, cricket, and rugby (to name a few). While we’re known best for our commitment to sports fans, we’re so much more than “just a sports bar.” The Pitch Tavern proudly offers live music and DJs, karaoke night, and much more! The Pitch Tavern offers classic "game day" fare including savory hamburgers, wings, and sausage and peppers, but also provides such palate pleasing selections as our Southern fried chicken, shrimp curry, and our New York sirloin that’s cooked to order. Our french fries come highly recommended, as we cut the potatoes and make our fries in-house. There’s something for every craving at The Pitch Tavern!
